ELECTRICAL INSPECTIONS

An Electrical Certificate of Compliance (CoC) confirms that your home’s electrical installation is safe and meets the standards set out by law. This includes the wiring, distribution boards, earthing and all electrical connections. Our team carries out a detailed inspection to ensure your property is fully compliant — and therefore safe for you and your family.

PLUMBING INSPECTIONS

The City of Cape Town is currently the only municipality that requires a Plumbing Certificate of Compliance (CoC) when a property is transferred. This regulation was introduced to help prevent water wastage, reduce the overloading of sewerage systems and to ensure that every property has a properly functioning water meter and shut-off valve.

GAS INSPECTIONS

The incorrect handling of LP Gas can be life-threatening. A Gas CoC ensures that all safety regulations are met, creating a safe environment for everyone using gas.

ELECTRICAL FENCING INSPECTIONS

An electric fence is a high-voltage installation designed to deter and keep out potential intruders. At the same time, it must ensure the safety of residents. When the installation complies with all relevant safety regulations, both security and safety are achieved — allowing for the issuing of a valid Electric Fencing Certificate of Compliance (CoC).

BEETLE INSPECTIONS

There is no legal requirement for a Beetle COC, normally the bond and insurance institutions requires a Beetle COC to give peace of mind that the collateral is safe. Normally the sales agreement stipulates if a Beetle COC is required or not.

After many wonderful years in the music industry as a singer, songwriter, arranger, choir director, and speaker at women events, life took an unexpected turn when Covid arrived. Like many others, I had to pause, reflect and reimagine my path. Out of that time of change, a new dream was born. I approached a friend of mine, a consulting engineer with all the relevant knowledge and certificates, to help restart a COC specializing company.
Today, my son and I, with the consulting engineer, work side by side. I manage the business and they take care of the technical side and execution — building something we all can be proud of, giving every client the best service we possibly can. People have always been at the heart of everything I do. It has always been about connection, care, and doing things with sincerity and integrity.
